As I stated in my first post, I have 2 blogs. My first blog (tonysblog.fortunasgarden.com) is dedicated to writing and concerns that I have as an author. It has been fulfilling, but it isn’t the venue for venting my opinions on politics, writing about my cooking, praising people in the public eye, or crocheting. I needed something else. This blog was born of that necessity, it is my catch all. I needed a place to go when I had to escape the author world. I needed a place to write in a non-fiction format about something other than fiction.
This blog is the place where you will find my views and opinions, crochet and knitting patterns, anecdotes about my dog, or a great recipe that I made up. I am in love with blogging to the point that I don’t really care if no one reads my entries, I do this for me.
About me
I am an author, writing mainly modern lit, slice-of-life pieces, easy weekend reads. I also run, along with my room mate and co-author, an on line writers workshop called Fortuna’s Garden.
When I am not writing, I love to cook and make up recipes from scratch, and have been accused of being pretty good at it. I knit and crochet, mainly blankets and scarves because there is no need to follow a gauge. I am a Mac guy, I wouldn’t classify myself as an enthusiast, but if given the choice I would rather use a Mac. I am also very politically minded, not quite an activist, but I have my moments where I feel compelled to make a point politically.
I live with my SO, my room mate and our 2 dogs Teddy and Charlie in Peterborough, Ontario. We have a good, quiet life and for the most part are very happy with it.
